Lesson Plan Help

BY IN Members Research 1 COMMENT

Sorry, this isn’t actually a research project submission, but I wasn’t sure where else I’d submit questions….

But I was recently hired to teach Video Production to 9th graders at Title 1 charter school in Downtown San Diego to a 98% Hispanic population… The first unit will cover early film, radio, and television history and as I was developing my curriculum map and I decided that when we focus on early television history, I want to focus on analyzing cultural hegemony within programs. I discovered your site and I was very intrigued by the UW-Stout research cohorts. I definitely want to develop a similar type of project for my students. I could definitely create something based off of the information presented on your page, but if there was an actual research paper or lesson plan available, I’m definitely interested in getting as much information as possible.

Let me know what you think…

Thanks,
Danny
